Diversity

One focal point of our diversity management is achieving a gender balance. We are specifically committed to increasing the proportion of women in executive positions, to promoting the careers of women with children and to strengthening the position of fathers.

In February 2017, about 180 female DB Group managers met for the second international DB manager conference “Women. Leading. Transformation” in Potsdam. The conference ensures that female DB managers can network with each other and that women who have the potential to take on executive positions become more visible.

The mentoring program “Careers with Children” started for the third time in June 2017. A total of 18 mentees with children are supported on their further career path, in­clud-­ing through intensive discussions with their mentors.

Diversity movie nights were the focus of the fifth Ger­m­­an Diversity Day at DB Group, which was held under the slogan “Diversity – Now, Let’s Watch Together!” This was organized as a multi-company event together with eight large German industry groups.
