Health management comprehensively positioned

In the year under review, the focus areas were once again management and mental health against the background of increasing digitalization in the working environment. We have comprehensively systematized and further developed our health management in DB Group with the Group-wide establishment of 60 full-time health experts, their systematic specialized qualification, as well as the rollout of the “German Seal for Corporate Health” – a process used to assess the quality and effectiveness of corporate health management. In addition, company-specific regulations to determine suitability and ability to work in the railway system and concerning occupational health provision were adapted to the new legal framework conditions. According to the new legal position, we avoid conducting aptitude tests that are no longer permitted and minimize the risk that certain employees are not examined in time.
